HOW YOU CAN JOIN AAP’S ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN

Whether you drive a car, ride a motorcycle or a bicycle or whether you are a pedestrian, you are a road user. Every time you go out into the street, you are vulnerable. The Department of Public Works and Highways says that the Philippines has 30,000 kilometers of roads and 50 percent of road fatalities are pedestrians. Because many of our roads are high-risk and there is little or no discipline among road users, daily news reports of fatal and crippling road crashes have become common and no longer shock us.
