You are automatically insured under the AAP Accident Protection Plan. Your AAP membership comes with a free personal accident insurance worth P300,000 for Regular Membership and P200,000 for Associate Membership, courtesy of Federal Phoenix Assurance Co., Inc.

The AAP Accident Protection Plan provides 24/7 worldwide protection to the insured person for a period of one year from the effective date of membership of the insured. (Except for Unprovoked Murder & Assault and Sabotage & Terrorism in the following areas: Lanao del Norte and del Sur, North and South Cotobato, Zamboanga del Norte and del Sur, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu Archipelago and Basilan)

Moreover, the personal accident insurance may be extended to your immediate family members. If you are single, you can extend the personal accident insurance to your parents aged 70 years old and below and/or your unmarried and unemployed brothers/sister/children aged 1 to 23. If you are married, you can extend the personal accident insurance to your spouse and parents aged 70 years old and below and/or your children aged 1 to 23.

Regular Members can get five certificates equivalent to P1.5M accidental death and disablement (AD&D) benefit. The immediate family member can get a maximum of five certificates or equivalent to P1M AD&D benefit for spouse and parent(s) and one certificate or equivalent to P200,000 for children, brother(s) or sister(s). Extended family members and domestic household helpers may get a maximum of two certificates worth P100,000 per person.
