LTO Motor Vehicle Registration Assistance 

 

Get hassle-free assistance on your annual vehicle registration renewal with the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

 

Requirements

 

Bring the vehicle for registration at the AAP office where it will be stenciled and submit the following requirements before the registration deadline:

 

Smoke Emission Test with passing result and Original Receipt of payment

Photocopy of Certificate of Registration

Original copy of the previous year’s Offical Receipt of the LTO Registration

Original and photocopy of Certificate of Cover (alternatively, you may get this from AAP)

 

AAP will notify you within five (5) days if the vehicle registration is completed and the new Official Receipt of the LTO Registration and registration sticker are available for pick-up.

  

Vehicle Registration Schedule

Keep in mind the following schedule to avoid penalties. Failure to register on or before the end of the month entails an LTO fine of 50 percent of your vehicle’s basic registration fee. If you own a vehicle with license plate number ending in the numbers below, you should renew your vehicle registration during the corresponding months.

            1 - January

            2 - February

            3 - March

            4 - April

            5 - May

            6 - June

            7 - July

            8 - August

            9 - September

            0 - October

 

The scheduled week of registration shall follow the middle number of your plate. Failure to register on or before your scheduled week of registration entails an LTO fine of P200.

            1, 2, 3  -           1st week

            4, 5, 6  -           2nd week

            7, 8      -           3rd week

            9, 0      -           4th week
